Why do
my updates not appear on my site?
If you make
an update and the change is accepted, then the modification will be stored
in the database and be reflected immediately. If this is not happening
for you it will be one of two things,
- Item was
not committed. When you made your change an error was displayed prompting
you for action. When this happens the modifications have not been saved
as there was something wrong with what you entered. It is necessary
for to correct the highlighted problem then attempt to submit the changes
again.
- Internet
Cache. Most browsers cache internet files, therefore it might be necessary
to select Refresh or Reload on your browser. This will force your site
to be requested again from your servers. If this is only happening on
just one page, you can try right clicking and choosing your browser
refresh option from there, as this will force just the current page
to be reloaded.
